Today, Montreal’s Bibi Club—the duo of Adèle Trottier-Rivard and Nicolas Basque—released Feu de garde (les braises) digitally, the deluxe edition of their acclaimed 2024 album Feu de garde. They have also shared a video for the standout new single “you can wear a jacket or a shirt feat. Calvin Johnson”–a reworked version of the 2024 original, now featuring Calvin Johnson‘s iconic vocals as well as melodic, smooth saxophone flourishes. A celebration of Feu de garde’s 1-year anniversary, the reissue also delivers three additional new tracks, including a cover of Stereolab’s “Orgiastic” released in March. A limited-edition 7-inch vinyl featuring “you can wear a jacket or a shirt (feat. Calvin Johnson)” and “Le feu II” is now available via the K Records website.
