This modest offering from Brad Barr of The Barr Brothers on Remembrance/Veteran’s Day is, in his words, “not a patriotic song, not a protest song, just a lament on how the simple things in life we take for granted every day have been, and continue to be, threatened and stripped away from others by the act of war. Its a soldier’s story here, but it could be anybody’s story. I feel deeply sorry for anyone who has had to endure the consequences of war, especially the innocents.”
