Plants and Animals announce winter Canadian tour

Plants and Animals may boast their share of laid-back jams, but they certainly can’t be accused of taking it easy—unless if by easy you mean touring their home and native land in the depths of winter, on the heels of a year that saw them play 100 shows. After a jam-packed 2010 in support of their sophomore album, La La Land, Plants and Animals will kick-off a 15-date national tour in early 2011, beginning in Vancouver on February 18th and running through to a home-town gig in Montreal, and tour-closer in Quebec City on March 12th. They’ll also be in great company along the way, with Yukon Blonde and 2010 Polaris Prize winners Karkwa supporting on the Western and Ontario legs of the tour, respectively. Full details are below.

Plants and Animals wrap up their 2010 touring this Friday, November 26th in Wakefield, Quebec with a sold-out show at the Black Sheep Inn.
